During 48 years of ministry, I have been called upon to fulfill many roles. God has placed me in such roles as pastor, preacher, counselor, missionary, administrator, citizen, and family man. He has provided me with many opportunities of learning and continues to teach me many valuable lessons of love. In none of these roles has God ever convinced me that they must be lived out totally for my well being alone. Through His precious Word and the living example of Christ, His Son, I have come to realize that my life, in whatever capacity, must go beyond itself to others.
In this light, please discern my reason for being pastor at Calvary Baptist Church. God has placed me here to serve Him by serving you. Please accept and respond to my desire to be open, friendly, and readily accessible to anyone who might have need of me. I am at your service in His.
